Staying in a tree house: Mon lit dans l'arbre

Like many, it is a childhood dream to spend a night in a tree house. At Mon lit dans l'arbre, this childhood dream has come true.  

General information

Mon lit dans l'arbre is a concept with several unique stays - 5 in total - in the heart of the Ardennes. The huts are nestled along the forest edge of Martilly. They are almost all tree houses, with the exception of Tanière des Nutons. We stayed in Trappes & cachettes, a 3-storey themed treehouse with a beautiful view of the valley. The whole treehouse is a treasure hunt full of surprises and secrets.

Food & Drinks

The rich breakfast with local products is delivered to the treehouse and costs 12 euro per adult and 8 euro per child. Dinner can also be ordered on request or you can use the equipped kitchen in the treehouse. 

Activities

There are numerous walks to be discovered in the region. Together with our 5-year old daughter, we hiked the 'Randoludic' in Herbeumont. During this family hike, there are several codes that you have to find or collect in order to open the treasure chest.

Practical information

To book this stay you have to be quick, because all tree houses are booked out quickly. The tree houses have heating, water and electricity. There is no WiFi or television in the tree house, which of course would not be in harmony with this theme anyway. 

Our experience

As mentioned earlier, we stayed in the Trappes & cachettes tree house which is very unique. Together with our 5-year old daughter, we were never bored. We would definitely recommend following the treasure hunt in this accommodation. We certainly hope to return again.
