General information
Indrani Lodge is located in Walloon Brabant, more precisely in Genappe. The Lodge has 5 rooms, but 7 more are expected to be opened in May.
The domain is vast (4 hectares!), if you walk around, you will be able to meet alpacas, 2 permaculture greenhouses or an orchard.
As far as well-being is concerned, we have a magnificent indoor swimming pool and yoga classes are offered throughout the week.
The hotel service is very present, but with the concern of the ecological footprint of it.
Food & Drinks
Indrani Lodge has its own restaurant. The chef worked in renowned restaurants such as L'Air du Temps and Bon Bon before joining the Indrani kitchen.
The menu is mainly sourced from the estate, with a maximum of 150m separating your table from the main ingredients on your menu. A gastronomic and sustainable cuisine. The kitchen is an extension of the restaurant and we really enjoyed seeing the chef at work before tasting his dishes.
Breakfast and lunch are also served in the restaurant.
The restaurant opens on Wednesdays, but if you are staying earlier, there are a few restaurants in the area.
Activities
In the evening we enjoyed the beautiful heated and covered swimming pool of Indrani lodge and the next morning we did a Pilates class. There are many other courses on offer such as meditation, various yoga classes, etc. You don't have to stay at the lodge to sign up. The courses are given by professionals and all the necessary equipment is present. All you need to bring is your sportswear.
Indrani Lodge is also an ideal starting point for outdoor activities. It is not far from the golf course of Golf de l'Empereur, Villers-la-Ville Abbey and the Waterloo battlefield.
Practical Information
Prices start at 199€ per night. Several packages are available, we took advantage of the "eat & chill" option
Parking on the domain is free
Our Experience
We loved staying at Indrani Lodge. We disconnected from our routine in an instant. We are totally won over by the high level of service combined with the concern for ecology. The 15th century vaulted rooms alone are magnificent, not to mention the explosion of flavour on our plates and the wellness break in the lodge pool.
